Designed exclusively for the EOS R5, the multi-function WFT-R10 not only adds more powerful and secure networking functionality s to the EOS R5, but also acts as a vertical battery grip with an extra battery, shutter button and controls. A dust- and drip-resistant structure ensures durability and reliability in professional shooting environments.
High-speed wireless connectivity with IEEE 802.11ac 2x2 MIMO support (wireless) or a high-speed Gigabit Ethernet 1000Base-T wired LAN connection reduces the transfer time of large volumes of image and movie data, and lets you seamlessly conduct remote Live View shooting via EOS Utility even with devices as far as 150m away.
The WFT-R10 enhances network security with SFTP and support for WPA2-Enterprise authentication.
Shoot dynamic scenes from multiple angles simultaneously with wireless linked shooting, which lets you use a sender EOS R5 to simultaneously release the shutter on as many as 10 linked “receiver” EOS R5 cameras placed as far as 50m away.
The fast connection supports the maximum 20fps high-speed continuous capabilities of the EOS R5.
The addition of SFTP compatibility to FTP and FTPS enhances support for different FTP servers, keeping files secure when uploading files from any location—whether it’s in the studio or direct from the field.
Files are automatically re-transferred even after the camera is turned off and on for better convenience and stability. Supports voice memo recording to other files during the transfer for better file management and organization!
